Happy Eating everyone, Welcome to the jatboard where we can share restaurants and dining experiences. We hope you enjoy the messageboard and continue to use jatbar as your restaurant resource for the bay area. jatboard FAQs (Last Updated Dec 2006) Do I have to create an account? How do I post a message? Why did my post get deleted? Why cant I post HTML or pictures? Can I talk about things other than food? Can I upload my own user image? How do I become an agent and write reviews? Will you guys support RSS? Where can I send suggestions and comments? Posting rules (You break these, your post will get deleted or account suspended) Please dont spam (advertising, marketing, personal web site, or sales) Do not post links promoting porn, warez, viruses, worms, mp3s, or anything else illegal Try not to use profanity Dont post personal information about yourself or others Do not harass other users Restaurant Owners: be honest, dont post about your restaurant, let us know and we'll see what we can do. If you see something illegal or threatening, we'd appreciate if you would send us an email to jatbar[at]gmail[dot]com to remove the posting (send url if possible). Do I have to create an account? We require you to create an account so we can handle the user load, slow down spammers, and make sure the users dont abuse the messageboards. You can create an account here Back to top How do I post a message? In order to post messages, you need to create an account. The accounts are free and any information about your accounts will not be sold or passed on to another party. Back to top Why did my post get deleted? You probably broke one of the posting rules above. Please read the rules before posting your message. Back to top Why can't I post HTML? We dont allow HTML for security reasons. Back to top Can I talk about things other than food? Not really, if you want to chat up a storm, go to craigslist or slashdot. Theres plenty of interesting people over there. Thanks for taking interest in becoming an agent but we are no longer accepting applications right now. We may open them up during Spring 2007.
