I dont make it a habit of begging, so here goes, to the owner of Lanesplitter Pizza, please open a location on the Peninsula. We are in dire need of a pub and pizzeria where people can enjoy a huge selection of beers and excellent slices of pizza.

There isnt any place near my house or work thats like Lanesplitter. If you built near my work, Id promise to take every co-worker at least one time. If you opened near my house, Id promise to tell my neighbors. Id even write a restaurant review praising your establishment.

Im sad to only enjoy 1 slice of pepperoni pizza and reminiscing about a near perfect thin slice pizza.

crust - very thin, dough fully cooked, some charring, firm crust - able to hold it up without flopping over. When folded, it cracked beautifully.

cheese - plenty to go around, some may complain that there's too much cheese for a real NY slice but its all good to me

sauce - perfect ratio to cheese and crust, not too tangy, very mild, very good

toppings - I counted 9 pepperoni slices on my pizza, if I could make a wish, broil the pepperoni to the point of crispiness

For $2.35, the slice was cheap and a hard deal to beat. Add the good music, laid back atmosphere, great pizza, selection of beer, and this is my type of place. Maybe Lanesplitter Pizza is too hip for a Peninsula city like Burlingame or San Mateo. Id settle for San Francisco, what do you think?
