Ramen Club should be commended on the large portions for the price. Located off California in Burlingame, its one of the few ramen restaurants in the area. We tried the other ramen house but the line was way too long, I'll have to review that another time.

We got to the Ramen Club a little after opening and a bit reluctant to eating there with only 2 other people seated. After ordering, the place quickly filled up...funny how things work like that. For the order today; crispy chicken appetizer (karaage), Shio (standard ramen, salt broth), and Super Shoyu Ramen (soy sauce flavored with stir fryed veggies).

Crispy Chicken - very good...marinated with a light batter. Side of rice will do nicely with this side.

Shio - noodles was firm and broth had tons of flavor. Not too salty either. Pork was tender and veggies were fresh. I would order this again.

Super Shoyu Ramen - HOLY CRAP...this order is soooo huge. Take a look at the picture. It can easily be shared with 2 people, if you got a monster appetite, you can add extra noodles for $1 extra. There must have been a 1/4 wedge of lettece in that bowl.

I'm not an expert at ramen noodles but I enjoyed the Ramen Club. Broth was filled with flavor and portions are big. I look forward to returning to the Ramen Club and trying out their other dishes.

After Jason told me about the Ramen Club, I can help but wanting to go to this place. I can never refuse a good bowl of ramen. Good thing that we went early as almost all Japanese noddle stores are cramped. I ordered the super Shoyu Ramen(soy sauce flavored with stir fryed veggies), even though there is somehting else I wanted to try, but I felt I had to see whats the deal with this super ramen.

The oder arrived promptly and OMG, it is SUPER. I meant, I have never seen so many vegetables together in one bowl and the bowl is HUGE. The noddle is decent and the soup is great, the vegetables are........... a lot. I was thinking about ordering the crispy chicken, but I am afraid that I would explode if I eat the chicken too.

The reason I gave it a 8 instead of something higher is because of Santa. I always compare ramen with Santas and so far no one has exceed the rating on Santa yet. This is not to say that the ramen is not good enough. Its fairly decent for the price and the restaurant is clean. I would definetly take my family here to try other ramen and the cripy chicken next time.

I LOVE this place! You can't beat the variety of food they offer here. (Ramen, udon and soba noodles, sushi, sashimi, teriyaki, maki, goyza, all sorts of great appetizers and sides to try!) Everyone can be in the mood for something different and be satisfied here. The prices are affordable for the variety and quality they offer, and the staff is friendly and casual. They even have prix fixe dinner specials that offer salad, miso soup, entree, and a small bowl of udon for about $12! But be prepared to wait if you go during peak weekend dinner hours. The ramen just can't be beat! And the sides are just superb.

Shoyu ramen with won ton, fried won ton, CA roll

The food here is excellent! Ramen comes to you steaming hot and the dipping sauce is absoutely indescribable. I've been trying to recreated the recipe for years with no luck. The wait to be seated at lunchtime can be long though. Everything is tasty
