My photo gallery 		Ive been trying to hit Sams Italian Sandwich Co for some time now. I get off work way too late to make their 5PM close time. Well, today is Saturday and I am determined to try it out. Located around the corner of California and Burlingame. Sams Italian Sandwich Co is a tiny place with about 5 people standing room and 1 sitting table outside. There were 4 people in front of me which meant I had to wait by the door.

There are about 5 sandwiches to choose from the menu and I think they were all under $6. Sandwiches come in 2 sizes; medium and for $1 extra, you can get the large. I got the large Sams Special; 4 kinds of italian meat, 1 cheese, lettuce, mayo, mustard, and tomato.

I have no complaints about my Italian sandwich. Piled high deli meat, fresh tasting ingrediants, and french bread with an awesome butter taste to it. Sandwich is a good size and shouldnt be a problem to fill your tummy up.

With value priced meals and excellent tasting sandwiches, Sams Italian Sandwich Co will NOT disappoint. Come to Burlingame and give them a try.
 
  RETURN VISIT for Jason! 7/1/2005 - 8.5 Rating: Made a return visit to Sams Italian Sandwich Co. They moved from their old location down the street to Burlingames historic Depot. Its a larger location with indoor and outdoor seating. Along with the new location are new menu items like hot dogs, pasta, hot dandwiches, and some breakfast items. I was tempted to try the hot dogs but had to go for the Sams Special.

Well the good news is, Sams has maintained their great tasting sandwiches. I have no complaints here just that I look forward to coming back and enjoying eating my sandwich outdoors.

If you havent been, you are missing out on a Burlingame favorite. Open from 9AM-530PM Mon-Sat.

Sams Special and Turkey

“You'll have to make 2 visits; one for Sam's Special and other for Turkey. The turkey sandwich is basically a turkey dinner on french roll...super good. Hours are Mon-Sat 10AM-5PM.”
