We spotted City Pizza and their sign...Pizza by the Slice. Terry and I are always down for trying slice pizza places especially when $2-3 a piece is a steal. It looked liked we missed the lunch rush as no one was inside and they ran out of cheese pizza. I ordered 1 slice of pepperoni and was delivered in short amount of time. It was served at the perfect temperature where it didnt burn the roof of my mouth.

crust - thicker than the norm, crust was solid and firm enough to hold up. I liked it and even ate the crust.

sauce - plenty of sauce, every bite had just the right amount. A little on the sweet side.

cheese - i want to say they had 2 types on there, mozzarella and parmesian or romano. tons of cheese...cheeselover might enjoy this slice

I was caught off guard by City Pizza and would recommend it to anyone looking for a quick slice. If i lived in the area, I would definitely choose it over dominos pizza, pizza hut, etc...

City Pizza was a drop-in for Jatbar. We were driving by, we were hungry, and there it was.

I was debating heavily on 7.5 or 8 and gave City Pizza the benefit of the doubt. I started off a little disappointed because it looked like a typical pizza slice joint. Dominos or something like that. I asked for Cheese pizza, and they had none. How wrong is that? They had pepperoni, but no pizza. They should have both ready at all times.

Rather than wait the 5-7 minutes for a slice of burning-my-mouth-cheese I decided to just get an order of Pepperoni pizza. At $2.50 it was a bit pricey, but once I saw the size of the slice, all was good. I picked off the pieces of pepperoni and was good to go.

Wow, this is a solid pizza. Its not thin slice, its not bland by-the-numbers chain-style pizza. It had a crunchy bottom, full slightly-sweet dough, and a good amount of cheese. I would like to try their extra-cheese some day fresh out of the oven. As it was, though, I was impressed with this random jatbar find. Definitely worth a try if you are in the area.

I think your reviews of City Pizza in Campbell is outdated (done in 2005). They have one of the best pizza I have had. I am wondering if you are so right on Tsing Tao and Falafel Drive In (both around/in campbell) how can you be so wrong about City?
