I don't know what the obsession my coworker Chris has with Yogurtland? I think he eats at this place 4-5 times a week and swears by the icy treat. He's taken me 2 times and snipered me with a togo order at the office. For the flavors I've tried; pistachio, blueberry, vanilla, and plain tart. I normally stick to strawberry, almonds, coco puffs, and oreo toppings. Out of the 1000's of combinations you can do, my favorite is blueberry, strawberries, and almonds.

It's nearly impossible for me to rate yogurt and ice cream with average scores since I pretty much enjoy all of it. Yogurtland doesn't taste like ice cream but more like yogurt that is frozen...surrrprise. A solid tart flavor in each spoonful and from what I'm told, low on the calorie meter.

Yogurt is pay as you go so if it is a fortune, you only have to blame yourself for loading up. I've kept it under $3 and portion size was just about right.

I've had other yogurt shops in the area and I love the rich smooth texture that resembles gelato. For the past 3 visits at Yogurtland, I've had small shards of ice throughout the cup of fro-yo. Chris claims it's because of the high traffic through the dessert shop and ingredients haven't had time to settle. Whatever it is, they need to correct it and smoothen it out.

My last gripe is the no pictures sign in the restaurant. What the hell is that about? I thought only asshats like Pinkberry did that crap. The truth is, your dessert shop has glass windows and you can see inside. You serve no more than 10 flavors and offer 20 toppings which makes remembering all of them quite easy. Take down the ridiculous sign.

We were returning back from an overstuffed experience at Gombei and I wasn't 100% ready for dessert today but I was anxious to review a new restaurant that I pushed Jason to stop by on the way back.

Yogurt isn't my favorite dessert destination, though I am pretty happy to get something sweet any day. Yogurtland is indeed an impressive looking place. You grab an impossibly large sized cup for your yogurt. Then you walk along the back wall, which is loaded with soft-serve ice cream machines, and then the side next to the register provides you a decent selection of toppings for your yogurt. And finally they weigh your creation and charge you 30 cents an ounce.

The price is actually pretty affordable if you choose to go with a realistic sized portion that you would normally consume. But they trick you with their HUGE bowls and extensive selection of unique flavors of yogurt - and of course the large selection of toppings at the end. I saw these high school girls in front of me with these mongo portions in their bowls. I played it legit and went with straight vanilla with some white chocolate chips, coconut, and M&Ms. My price was about $2.30 and it was an above average portion for me. I consider that to be a pretty good deal for the amount of yogurt I got.

The yogurt, however, was a bit of a letdown. It was SUPER chilled, enough that it initially felt like the flavor was suffering. The texture was a bit runny overall and perhaps a bit more sour than I was hoping. Overall I have had better - and while I appreciate the build-your-own-aspect of it, the flavor just wasn't my thing.

Heard from some friends that this was one of the best tart yogurt places they’ve tried so far. Compared to Red Mango and that other popular place, this was the better bang for the buck as I was able to get as much or little as I wanted. I was told to try the Vanilla but the day I went they ran out. It seems to be very popular and hard to keep it available for some reason. I went with the Green Tea and Pistachio instead. Decided not to add any toppings to it and my total was under $3.00 for a lot of yogurt. The combination was actually pretty good. It’s definitely not as tart or yogurt tasting as some of the other places I’ve tried. The consistency is more towards the frozen ice cream yogurt but without the extra sugar. All in all it’s pretty good and I would go back to try some other flavours. Not much indoor seating but plenty of outdoor seating.

This place is awesome.
they have 14 different flavors if every line is set up. self serv!! this is a very important detail. 30cents an ounce! unlimited flavor/topping combinations. a GIGANTIC treat would cost about $5.
the toppings bar includes fresh and processed fruits, candies, nuts, as well as oddball breakfast cereals such as fruity pebbles and cap'n crunch.

seriously, this place is great. froyo seems to be making a comeback, but this self serv concept and low price make this place wonderful, the shopping center that it is in also now has many new and old options for lunch or dinner.

i don't go 4-5 times per week, like had been mentioned in another review, but there was one day when i went here twice.

you can have as much or as little as you want! it is a great idea.
