Lech N Go sits in a random shopping center somewhere in Daly City. It's a small filipino restaurant with little decorations but the charm of a family run business. They have plate meals, bakery goods, and grilled items. When I talked in, they were grilling pork, chicken, and whole fish. With so many tempting things to order, I had to go with the roast pork (lechon).

The cutting board tells tales of wear and tear from the years of chopping roast pig. The board was nearly u-shaped! The lady moved the portion of the pig and starting slicing away. Good portions of pork and generous amounts of rice for about $7.

On picture #6, you'll see a small foam cup. That's the dipping sauce that's normally accompanied with lechon. It's a mix of black pepper, vinegar, sugar, soy sauce, bay leaves, other seasonings, and liver. The ingredients might not sound appealing but it's definitely worth trying. I can't describe what it tastes like, it's sweet and tarty.

The pork was good tasting and had crispy outer shell. It wasn't too gamey as other places I've had but my main complaint was the temperature. It wasn't warm and could have used a good microwave. I need another shot at eating this dish. I've eaten a lot of Lechon and say this is about average. I'll leave it at a 7.5 for now but I'm willing to bet if I can catch this dish out of the oven, it's 8.5 rated dish.
