My photo gallery 		I have been going to Eastern Winds for quite a few years. Having lived in Fremont nearly 30 years, I have a pretty good idea of the range of Chinese restaurants in the town offering takeout. And I stand by this place as the best takeout one. Sure there are better places to be had if you want to sit down. If you want to eat at home and either pickup or have it delivered to your door, you cannot beat Eastern Winds.

Once I tried eating there (there are tables) and the owner was shocked that I was eating there and not taking it home. Thats a true takeout place.

I usually order the shrimp fried rice and the Beef Brocolli dishes. Though now that I don't eat meat I go with the Tofu Brocolli (not as good, but decent substitute). When you pour the sauce from this over your rice its amazing.

Its maybe a bit on the greasy side, but not overly so. The food is clean, the place is above-average clean, and the food the most flavorful. Give Eastern Winds a try.
