Mission Burger serves decent grilled burgers at competitive prices. It was one of 2 burger places that I liked to go in Fremont, the other one being Bobs Giant Burger. From what I recall, their burger meat was a notch above fast food meat but not by much. I always felt the burger sizes were tiny for the price you were paying. For a couple dollars extra, a burger at Red Robbins might sound more appealing.

The one thing that bothers the heck out of me is the splitting of the hot dogs. Its sooo wrong...you might as well serve rolled bologne on toast. I would never order a hot dog there again.

If you live in Fremont and tired of fast food chain burgers, Mission Burger serves respectable burgers that are cooked to order.

On the way home from work I passed by Mission Burger and figured what the heck. Its been a bad week with Fentons, Vals, Ryowa today, so...

I hadn't been to Mission Burger in years. I had forgotten how it rated so thought I might as well make the place official on Jatbar. I ordered a cheeseburger and a vanilla shake. My son ordered a hot dog and a milk.

The lady made our food as we waited then took our money after she had cooked it. We sat down at one of the many benches around the place. I didn't add anything to my burger, what you see in the pic is what I got. The shake was filled up to the top, I took the picture after mistakenly drinking some of it. The hot dog was delivered plain as thats how my son likes it.

The hot dog was sliced in half which turns out to be just how my son likes it but I realize some do not like it this way. The burger was charbroiled and quite tasty. Not up to Vals quality of course but not bad. The onions, tomato, lettuce all worked very well together and made a cohesive combination that tasted fresh and juicy.

The shake was just OK. Hmm, doesn't seem like any shakes do it for me anymore since I have been to Fentons. Its better than McDonalds of course, but its not something I will order here again. Kinda runny, kinda out-of-the-box tasting. It wasn't bad though. Just didn't blow me away.

Overall, Mission Burger does a good job at its namesake and I would definitely consider going here before trekking the long distance drive to Vals.

I ate here once during lunch back in high school. I thought the burger was okay, but nothing very special. I believe I had a canadian cheeseburger, which was a fancy name for a bacon cheeseburger. I remember it being big, the meat wasn't too great but it wasn't bad, and the bun was a bit dry for my taste.

I didn't finish the burger and ended up giving the rest to a famished student sitting next to me in AP biology, and he seemed to enjoy it. The fries were good, but it's really hard to mess up a french fry. I might go back and try it again, but it's hard to resist the burritos on the other side of the building.

Came here before my class at Ohlone, since it was the only place around open. Small little shack with benches around. The lady inside didn't seem like she wanted to be there, she rushed the order and didn't say much. Ordered the Fish Burger, which was all right, but they didn't have any tartar sauce. They used dressing and relish instead.

They serve steak fries, but she only gave three packs of ketchup, which wasn't enough, and she went into hiding in the shack, so I couldn't ask for more. Decent food, bad service.
