I think Terry got the short end of the stick at Brian's Restaurant. I ordered the club sandwich and it completely dominated in size and price. My sandwich was at least 2 times the size of his veggie sandwich and it costs $2 more.

If you're hungry and want a sandwich that consistently delivers, go for the club sandwich. Living in a hole and don't know what a club sandwich is? It's normally served as a double decker sandwich with lettuce, tomato, mayo, bacon, cheese, and turkey. There are dozens of variants but these ingredients are the norm.

bread - toasted wheat, 3 slices of bread, nothing out of the ordinary, but good.

veggies - lettuce and tomatoes, fresh, no complaints

bacon - lots and lots of bacon, bonus points galore

turkey - if I recall correctly, it looked and tasted like packaged turkey as opposed to cutting off the bird. Average deli style meat, don't expect high expectations.

I keep saying I'm going to stop ordering club sandwiches but majority of the time, they make me happy. Today's club like others I've had in the past live up to my standards. Without a doubt I would recommend Brian's Restaurant for their club. The price of their club approaches the $10 range which is roughly $2 more than competitors in the area. If it was a tad cheaper, I'd rate a little higher. Service was brisk and friendly.

Their breakfast menu looks good and judging from the outdoor patio, I can imagine long lines for early breakfast on the weekends.

I'm sure this place must be better on the weekend for breakfast. We arrived for lunch and I was in the mood for sandwiches. I spied the vegetarian sandwich (with avocado) and got excited. I ordered that, with the potato salad.

The place was a bit busy today (mostly retired patrons) but service was still fairly prompt. No complaints. My plate arrived and the sandwich looked good but the service size was SMAAALLL. Really small. For >$7 I expect a bit more substance to the meal. Jasons Club sandwich definitely looked like a better deal, but even still these are low-bang-for-the-buck sandwiches.

The avocado was good, salad and mayo inside was good. But that was it. Nothing particularly out of the norm to this sandwich. Pickle was good, potato salad was by the book. Nothing particularly exciting.

I can't say this was a bad place, but with these prices, I found myself hoping for more.
