We had quite the feast at Chef Wangs. Today was our team lunch outing and decided to chow down on chinese food. There were about 15 of us ordering al la carte, it was quite the assortment of food. This was an excellent opportunity to try out 10+ dishes.

Since we ordered a large amount of food, Chef Wangs threw in free sweet and sour soup and veggie egg rolls. I didnt try the sweet & sour soup but the egg rolls were about average.

Off the top of my head, here's what we ordered;

-Beef Brocolli
-Curry Chicken
-Mixed Vegetables
-Garlic Chicken something
-Shrimp with Lobster Sauce
-Sweet and Sour Pork
-Vegetables and Tofu
-Beef Schawan (spelling?)
-Chicken Fried Rice

Out of all those dishes, its unfortunate that only 2 are worth writing about; Curry Chicken and Beef Brocolli (ok the mixed vegetables were good but its hard to mess up stir fry, I wont count that dish). Very surprising that there curry would be good. Not to spicey but bursting with flavor. The beef with broccolli was ok but I prefer chinese brocolli for the bitterness. The other dishes were below average...the Shrimp with Lobster sauce (favorite chinese dish) was horrible. Dont order it...shrimps had absolutely no flavor.

Chef Wangs comes in with a 6.5. I wouldn't go here on my own but if someone else is buying, I'll go. I'd get the Curry Chicken with steamed rice.

Drive by here the other day and Chef Wangs was boarded up. Not sure when or why they closed.
