Paninis caught my eye last week on a drive back from lunch. Small deli that caters to Italian style sandwiches. If you've ever been to Italy or any european city, you'll recognize the deli cases with premade sandwiches. You might be turned off by premade sandwiches but hopefully you're willing to try something new or eurostyle.

I ordered the cold Chicken Pesto and was returned a warm roasted sandwich. The bread was crunchy but didnt leave that captain crunch mouth. It was damm good. Pesto was descent and they used real shredded breast chicken...not the processed stuff. Along with the sandwich was 2 slices of roma tomatoes. All ingrediants tasted fresh and very light on the stomach.

Prices are a bit high for a average size sandwich (Almost $8 for complete meal). If you want to try a eurostyle sandwich and fancy a light lunch, order a grilled sandwich at Paninis.

I ordered a "regular" sandwich at Paninis. An albacore tuna sandwich on sourdough sliced bread. They threw in "everything" (cucumber, lettuce, mayo, tomato). It was pretty good, but at $7 (with fresh-brewed ice tea and bag of chips) it was not a good bargain. I guess if you are into the pay-a-lot-for-a-little-food, its not so bad. I felt this was a ripoff since the sandwich was just average (I think I would have been more satisfied at Subways for example). The place was clean and they served it up quick, so can't pan them too much. Just will not return.
