My photo gallery 		Most of the places we find are spur of the moment. We were making a left turn and saw Skips Lunch Special $5.95.

Skips Place is a small restaurant that serves pizza along with various dishes. We came here for the special which was 2 slices of pizza, salad, and a drink. I head out to the salad bar and noticed REAL BACON...holy cow....most restaurants usually serve bacos. Skips definitely gets brownie points for that. The salad bar is tiny but vegetables appeared to be fresh. Pizza was a step above your grocery store pizza. I will give them props for their dough...it look like it had a some wheat in it? Sauce was so-so and nothing too special for the cheese. I think to accurately rate their pizza, I would need to order their specialty. I'll be back though.

This place will get a return visit for their value....its cheap, clean, and they serve real BACON at the salad bar.

My photo gallery 		I rate it a 7. Skips is a nice clean place that is located in quiet Los Altos. I went for the $6 lunch special which includes salad bar and 2 slices of pizza and a soda. The salad bar is GREAT. Fresh vegetables that really taste VERY good. Definitely the highlight. The soda was a fairly big glass which was surprising. The pizzas were just OK in my book. The cheese lacked flavor, though had very little grease. The sauce was pretty good, and the bread was the highlight of the pizza. It was a VERY tasty dough that they used. Too bad the cheese wasn't tastier or else this would be up further in my list.
