My photo gallery 		Hot Dog stands are pretty scarce in the Bay Area. There are only a handful of these places available. I am happy to say Happy Hound makes me Happy to eat one of their Happy Hounds. I usually get the Chilli Cheese Hot Dog with a side of fries. There fries are one of my favorites.

I did venture off one day and get the double-cheeseburger...its a lot of food. I think the single is plenty. The ground beef is not greasy and somewhat lean. A tasty burger indeed.

This place is good....I mean..hell...even the vegetarian I go with eats here.
 
  RETURN VISIT for Jason! 7/24/2007 - 9 Rating: Had the happy hound without relish. Ga dammm...it's still super good. Bun was moist, dog had a little snap, just the perfect amount of toppings. I have to bump the score up to a 9 because their prices are much cheaper than other hot dog stands in the area. I paid $3.99 for a happy hound + small fries. If you want to do blowout, go for at least 2 hot dogs.

My photo gallery 		What? A Vegetarian reviewing a hot-dog place? I never said I'm a 100% strict vegetarian. I usually don't eat hot dogs or hamburgers. But there's something about a Happy Hound hotdog that can't be missed. Every other month I gotta take the plunge. Incredible hot dogs. My choice is the Cheese Dog (piled high with cheese!) and the kraut dog. I'm not terribly keen on the fries (though others are) and haven't tried the burgers (but they look tasty). I just go for the dogs. Not to be missed.
