My photo gallery 		There was nothing about this place that stood out. Food was average with no complaints. I got the beef kabob with rice. Most Persian dishes usually serve kabobs with onions and a tomato. I did not receive either and dont recall if it was an extra charge for those items.

Place was clean, service was good, and meal was ok.

Thanks to Gena over at www.mountainviewca.net. She's informed us that they have closed and moved on to greener pastures. Kinda sad to hear because this was the 1st restaurant to be posted on jatbar.

My photo gallery 		I had the vegetarian special and it was very good. They didn't give you heaping portions, but it was enough to fill me. I had a glass of water. The salad before the meal was good, the dressing being of the yogurt-type. Very refreshing. The white rice I got was very good and they gave a lot compared to the main part of the dish, which resembled a kind of vegetable stew. No complaints with my meal, I would probably go again. I was not pleasantly surprised by anything here however.

My husband had lamb kabob and I had aushak

“Delicious and so flavorful! The lamb was extremely tender and the aushak's beef sauce was perfect! The place has that family resturaunt sincerity while the food was very reasonably priced!! It also tasted very healthy....I would definitely go again!”

I had the chicken kebob and ground beef with soup

“The chicken was excellent and went great with a side of yogurt. I also enjoyed how they made their ground beef, it was better than most other afghan restaurants. I also got a soup with the meal, my wife and i loved it. A great place to try.”
