My photo gallery 		Dittmer has quite the selection of meat; sausages to pork chops to steaks. The butcher even gave us a sample of 3 types of sausage....gggaaaa ddammm...he probably put a sprinkle of heroin on it. I wanted to buy lbs of it.

So many types of meat to choose from but I had to go with one of my all-time favorites....Pastrami. I had it on a sweet french roll with a slice of provalone. Dammm.....wwwherrreeess the meat...holy crap??? This place is stuffed to the roof with meat and they can't put a descent amount of Pastrami on my sandwich? I tasted more cheese than meat. Maybe it was my sandwich? One other complaint was the bread...it kind of sucked. Ive had better bread at the supermarket.

I'll come back to Dittmers to buy sausages or steak but it wont be for their sandwiches. For my 3 word review.....ADD MORE MEAT

My photo gallery 		Dittmers was quite a nice find. Its tucked away in an oldish looking complex so wasn't immediately apparent from the road. Its a great little butcher/deli. The folks that work there are nice, even letting us sample pieces of their fresh homemade sausage.

Yep, I took the plunge and ordered a meat item today. I got their Pastrami Reuben sandwich on light rye. It is a little small if you are used to sandwiches from Togos, Subway, or local Rogers Deli. The quality of the meat, however, is quite worth it. The cost, under $5/sandwich is quite affordable but keep in mind that they kind of skimp on the meat (which seems odd from a butcher shop). The meat is very good quality so probably expensive.

Being that its a primarily meat place (though they do have a few vegetarian offerings thankfully) I probably won't go back much, but I give it high marks just the same as what they do have is quite good.

As an added bonus, they have plenty of imported food items from Germany. I used the opportunity to pick up some hard-to-find Curry Ketchup.

My photo gallery		 I love this place. They have truly knowledgable staff and carry such a wide selection of fresh meats. They've got great cuts of beef for steaks and wonderful deli meats that can be harder to find. I always run to this place when I'm trying to find something that's a little harder to get (like beef tongue for a recipe...don't ask).
