We were going to a Middle Eastern restaurant next door until we discovered Sushi Tei. We sat at the sushi bar but surprisingly ordered 1 sushi each. I got the Shrimp Tempura roll with the chicken teriyaki bento box while Terry got the CA roll with beef teriyaki bento box.

The people working there were extrememly nice and brought out our order fast. Too bad for Terry, they handed him a tea cup with lipstick on it. That didnt scare him though as he powered through his vegetables and nibbled a bit of the BEEF teriyaki dish. I took a quick bite from his dish and the beef wasn't as tender as it should be. It reminded me of beef flavored chewing gum. My dish on the other hand was much better. The chicken teriyak was tender, tempura sides were flaky, and for portions this big, the price is right. As for my tempura roll, I definitely want to come back and order more sushi. I might have to re-adjust my score here.

I ordered the box lunch (beef with sushi). I didn't really eat the beef, though. Had one little piece (tasted like crap). The rest was salad, rice, vegetable tempura and 6 california rolls. The California rolls tasted kind of stale. They served tea immediately which was a nice gesture, but my cup had lipstick on it! oh boy. So why am I rating it a 6.5? I need to try the sushi again. I had a piece of Jason's Sushi and it was REALLY good. I think I would recommend this place for Sushi but not much else.
