My photo gallery 		I found Jimbo's Burger House while walking around Oakland during Jury Duty lunch. Jimbo's is a traditional "grease-pit" type of diner. (though very clean and not literally greasy) It was fairly deserted when I entered. The menu contained a healthy selection of burgers and sandwiches. I opted to break my veggie rule and went with the Reuben Burger. It was a nice combination of 1/4 lb beef and sauerkraut on rye bread. (they offer all their burgers in 1/4 lb and 1/2 lb). The burger came with fries (which were VERY tasty), for $4.40. Very good deal. I also opted for their Vanilla "Thick Shake" for $2.20 (another good deal). It was real ice cream.

I was a little disappointed (though not surprised) at their lack of veggie offerings, but found the place to be the real deal and would recommend it if you are in the mood for burgers in Oakland.

We have been informed that Jimbos has closed their doors. Thanks to Marc S for the info.
