We spent todays lunch at Feng Yuan. With about 10 dishes to choose from the buffet line, I got the sesame chicken, shrimp with vegetables, and steamed rice. I didnt have high expectations so what the hell.

My first bite of the sesame chicken was a bit of a surprise to me. It was good!! The batter was crispy and sweet. I dont think Ive had chicken like this before...I could feel my arteries hardening...haha. Oh well, we're not here for our health but for the taste. The shrimp with vegetables was also nicely prepared but STINGY on the shrimps. Cmon...give me more than 3 shrimps!! They had so many in there yet they choose to dump 2 cups of rice on my plate.

I walked out full, Im satisfied, and it only cost me $7.

***Update 08.23.06***
We have been informed that Feng Yuan is no longer. It has been replaced with another restaurant called Green Elephant Gourmet. Thanks to Casey for the update.

I found Feng Yuan to be a formidable chinese restaurant. We found it by driving around sidestreets until we stumbled upon this complex. Feng Yuan appears to be under new owners and the folks working here seem to be giving their best efforts to make your visit a rewarding one.

The buffet selections were a bit small but all seemed very good. The one problem is that everything had meat in it, so I was resorting to either eating and ignoring or just picking the meat out. The fried rice was a bit flavorless but good with a little soy sauce. The chow mein was very tasty, about average I suppose for a chinese restaurant. The shrimp & vegetables was VERY tasty and worth the return visit. I got about 5 shrimps so I'm not complaining. The cost for this heaping plate was $5. What a bargain!
