It was a beautiful day and wanted to celebrate my 1st day of vacation by heading up to San Francisco for lunch. I was craving an old fashioned burger and wanted to try out Burger Joint. Hearing they serve Niman Ranch meat at reasonable prices, I wanted to give it a try.

Located on Haight and Pierce, you cant miss it, it's right on the corner. I can't offer any advice on parking, I lucked out and found a spot 2 blocks away.

I went with the cheeseburger and fries for $6.85.

Meat - cooked over an open flame. Tasted lean yet juicy with flavors. The grease didn't leak too much over the bun to make it soggy. Meat was semi-crumbly and patty was about average size. I wish they offered a double cheeseburger. Exceptional piece of work

Buns - sesame bread and fluffy. I don't think it's baked on the premises but enjoyed it alot

Toppings - bermuda onion slice, leaf or butterhead lettuce, thin sliced tomato...all of it fresh tasting

Fries - awesome!! thick cut fries and heavy portions. A bit greasy but what do you expect when you deep fry something.

When you place all those fresh ingredients together with the flame broiled burger, you get a wonderful meal. Burger Joint rocks!! This place is the real deal and recommend to try a great tasting burger at budget prices. Seeing that I'm a glutton for food, I'm dreaming for Burger Joint to offer a double cheeseburger.
