I cant wait to go back to Ciceros pizza! Imagine a extra thin crust thats crispy, top secret sauce thats a perfect blend of tomatoes and herbs, and just enough toppings for a heavenly combination. If you are a fan of thin crust pizza, this place is for you. You can fold the pizza and it will crack, I wonder if their secret ingrediant is butter.

We went during lunch and they have a special for $6.50 - personal pizza with 1 topping and soda. After eating the meal, I wasnt completely stuffed or anything but it was enough to keep me good for the next 2-3 hours. Ill have to get a medium pizza on my next visit.

One more thing for you pizza purists, dont be scared by the fairly new location in a strip mall. Their original location was around for 30+ years until the Nunzio (owner) retired. Ciceros Pizza reopened a couple of years back with family members heading it up. With a family recipe thats been around for decades, youre going to have a hard time finding a better thin crust pizza in the Bay Area.

I never thought it could be true. A pizza joint that served up thin slice, non NY style, pizza that was good. Ciceros is the best thin slice I have encountered in the Bay Area after Arinell. Its VERY thin (which, here, is a good thing). Its almost cracker thin. The style is very Napoli-inspired. Except the crust is not papery, its a buttery greasy. Can't be very good for you, but it tastes absolutely incredible. I ordered the small cheese (with extra cheese) and found that the small was actually fairly small. Next time I might have to go for the medium. The reasoning is that the crust is so thin, you tend to eat more of this than you would other pizza. Well, that, and it tastes so good.

The cheese was melting but not burn-the-roof-of-your-mouth. The sauce (Ciceros calls it a secret sauce - and I can see why) is incredibly delicious. Its a bit sweet, a bit tart, and just awesome. The entire package makes for a pizza that I will put in the running for the top 5 pizza in the Bay Area.

We went for lunch and got the lunch special and I am truly impressed. We ordered there as we walked in and were out the door in about 20 minutes. GREAT lunch destination.

A day of gluttony for me. I had a huge lunch at Lee's Sandwiches earlier, and dinner tonight at Ciceros.

This place has been a long-time favorite of mine. I was living in Philadelphia during 2001 and i died a thousand deaths when i came home to discover that my beloved pie shop had closed.

Since then, they have reopened in a newer cleaner(less charming) place, and thankfully expanded their hours.

This is fine thin crust pizza. Through the news stories on the wall, i found out that this is upstate New York- style as opposed to regular NY stuff.

This is a family business that has been passed on to a second generation, with a third generation also working there.

The pizza: i ordered my favorite, the Belly Buster. Salami, pepperoni, sausage, olives, bell peppers, red onions, mushrooms, cheese, and the secret suace.

sauce: sweet and tangy, and according to those same news articles, the secret recipe is known only by two people, and sadly, if I'm not mistaken, Nunzio Cicero has passed on, so that leaves only one living soul who knows the secret. This is delicious.

Crust: thin and crispy, but not dry. quite tasty. The savvy move they employ here is to coat the pan with canola prior to baking. this gives the crust a lovely flavor and crispiness; according to my best friend, it is the 'buttery cruss (crust) effect'.

my my, do i love this stuff.

the cheese: not really special, but the perfect amount to pair with this crust.

the toppings: also not special, but they are good enough quality. Interestingly, the sausage is thrown on in teeny tiny bits, instead of nuggets or more common modes of sausage delivery. The onions come out tasting sweet. the toppings are abundant.

the total package adds up to my all-time favorite. i think the suace, crust, and toppings compliment each-other perfectly, and the oven temperature is ideal.

Reasonable prices on beer. And they serve the larger, glass pitchers rather than the smaller plastic ones which have become so common.

Pizza prices are average. a medium is sufficient for two adults(unless you've got a really big appetite) me and my ex girlfriend used to split a large though. the thin crust leaves room in the tummy for more slices than of your average pizza. and the taste is addictive.

this pizza is not for everyone, but if you like thin crust, you had better try this spot. my favorite.

After all these years of living in the bay area and seeing Ciceros so many times as I drove by the old Stevens Creek location, I finally took the plunge to try their pizza tonight. Reading the reviews here convinced me as I love crispy thin crust pizza with a good tomato sauce.

My friend and I arrived at Ciceros around 8pm and the place was packed. We were hoping to dine in but there was not an open table available, the tables that were available still had plates and dirty napkins on it. We decided to just order out. While we waited in line I noticed that this place didnt have a fountain for drinks and all sodas ordered came in cans with a plastic cup half filled with ice. Same goes with beer, and no option to purchase a pitcher or beer or soda.

By the time our turn arrived to order pizza, I was about to order a pepperoni and mushroom pizza but my friend said “for 50 cents more we could get a special pizza. So we decided to go with the Bakers Pride, which consists of cheese, mushrooms, sausage, onions, and bell peppers. Im not a big fan of sausages as they are usually too oily on a pizza. I went to Safeway next door to grab some drinks and my friend waited for the pizza. The total wait was about 15 to 20 minutes.

When we got back to my place and opened the pizza box I noticed that the sausages was in bits of pieces on the pizza, sort of like how a Tortinos frozen sausage pizza looked after being baked, but even smaller bits. I took my first bite, WOW it was good but it tasted like Tortinos sausage pizza. The first words out of my friends mouth after taking his first bite, “This is a glorified Tortinos pizza!”

We downed the pizza fast, while he was still hungry after eating half the pizza I was satisfied. This pizza is very easy to eat as the crust is so thin. The toppings, sauce, and cheese were all proportionally perfect. It didnt have too much cheese and toppings like how Jakes has it and not too much sauce like how I usually like my pizza with extra sauce but it was still good.

This pizza is a bit expensive considering we ordered a large and there were no leftovers and my friend was still hungry. If it was maybe if it was two dollars less it would have been a great deal. This is not the type of pizza to bring to a football party as I would imagine the guest would devour it and still be hungry by half time.

Bottom line: Good thin crust pizza with a special sauce. Goes down easy but may leave some wanting more. Not too greasy as the box was not covered in grease when we finished eating. Good ratio of toppings, cheese, sauce, and crust. Considering taking the pizza to go as sodas is served by the can and beers are served by the glass (not that big). Two to three small TV set with sports games when available. Plenty of parking and has many seats, but place is too popular if you dont get there early.

Accepts Visa and MasterCard.

Cicero's Pizza is thin crust pizza heaven. I had a slice or two at a birthday party and I had to make a trip to the restaurant.

I usually have their all meat, sorta like a meat lover's pizza. Thin crust with very tasty toppings. The good part about thin crust is that you can eat more without feeling stuffed with all the extra bread that you'd consume in a normal pizza. I hardly ever eat vegetarian pizzas. But this place has excellent vegetarian ones with olives and jalapeno toppings.

I think their pizza is a little expensive. But it's worth the money. This is certainly one of the best pizzas I have ever eaten.

Been meaning to see what Cicero's is about for months now, and finally had time this afternoon.

We ordered a medium belly buster and it came with sodas. I learned shortly before we arrived that they served a thin crust new york styled pizza, and I was especially glad since I did not have to compare it against JT McHart's down the street.

The pizza arrived on a thin aluminum pan and the crust was probably the thinnest I've ever seen. Stacked with layers of toppings we couldn't wait to dive in. bad idea, omg don't let the cool pan decieve you this stuff was molten goodness. the toppings roll off and the cheese slides right off.

We got forks (blasphamy) and things worked out much better. Delicious, but different at the same time. Glad we went and definitely a new pizza joint for me.

I found the pizza here to be good, but not let's say amazing. With all the reviews I saw I expected to be biting into something that I would be talking about for weeks, but instead I bit into something that was good enough to mention, but not good enough to rabble on about.

My friend and I went with a medium Belly Buster which was the ingredients of the Special + Baker's Pride. The total was $13.75 which was a bit pricey I would say for a medium pizza, but we got two drinks with it so that's cool. It's also nice that they have a table where you can just pick up jars of parmesan, red pepper flakes, and bottles of Frank's Red Hot sauce unlike chain pizza places where you usually stock up on little packets. After waiting for let's say ten minutes or so our order finally came out. The pizza was decently sized for a medium, so I won't complain about the price and the size. However, we noticed that the crust was absolutely DRENCHED in oil. I kid you not there were actually little pools of oil everywhere. Then again that's all flavor.

Now I'm a man who enjoys the sausage on the pizza to be little chunks, not grated pieces of meat which is what it looks like they did to the sausage. The only parts of the pizza that I can consider being 'special' were the crust, the olives, and the mushrooms. Besides all that I'm going to bring some shock and awe into here by saying this reminded me of a Roundtable Pizza with bigger slices and a thinner crust. Dare I say it was like the King Arthur's Supreme without the anchovies? I do dare say. So besides the great crust and two of the toppings I tasted Roundtable.

Does that mean I'm putting down this pizza? No, not really because I love Roundtable Pizza, it's probably my favorite pizza chain. However, until something can prove me wrong (i.e. a return visit) I will count this as Roundtable Pizza with a better crust. Also I think combination pizzas at Roundtable are more expensive.
