My coworker Chris and I were roaming the streets of San Jose on our way to Global Vegetarian Bistro. We scored parking in the front and low and behold, the name of the restaurant changed to Dandelion Vegetarian Cafe. I've been reviewing restaurants for the last 5-6 years and I think this might be the 4th vegetarian restaurant in the same location. I hope this place pulls through as people here are super nice.

One of the best things about Dandelion Vegetarian Cafe is the picture menu. For 1st time visitors, it's cuts the mystery on what you're ordering. More bonus points for the home made style menus.

For starters, ordered the veggie chicken nuggets. Served over a single piece of lettuce, half a dozen or so deep fried breaded tofu nuggets with a side of sweet n sour sauce. I like this dish because they are hot and greasy and resemble old school McDonald's nuggets, just vegetarian style.

My main dish, it's picture 8, which is brown rice, tofu, steamed cabbage, sliced faux meat, and deep fried faux meat. The pictures may look like bland food but food was quite delicious.

Parking is plentiful but you'll need quarters. Tables are small so don't expect 5 people to fit at a table. Prices are good but I thought the food and service were better.
