Korean Palace is a tough one for me to review. Lets just say Terry didnt eat 99% of his meal. It wasnt eatable. Im sure 364 days of year they serve top-notch quality food, they have been around for a long time but we just happened to hit them on one of those really really really bad days.

My short ribs were good but from what I saw on Terrys dish left me feeling a little sick inside.

Just a note to Korean Palace, look carefully before serving your dishes.

Going out to eat is one of the few things I like to do, and it's pretty hard to have a bad time doing it. I took my family and friends here for a Thanksgiving dinner because of some reviews and the website looked cool. But damn, this place is one of the worst experience I've ever had dining out.

Let's start off with the appetizer. since everything seemed a little high priced, we decided to go cheap on the appetizer and save our money for the main course. so we ordered the yaki man doo and the mool man doo. The first one turned out to be boiled Costco potstickers, and the second one fried Costco potstickers. Ten in each plate and eight bucks a plate. damn. Then we ordered two orders of kal bi (bbq short ribs) which costed 20 bucks each and looked like it was a serving for one. Although it did taste good, it was not worth 20 bucks.

We ordered another seafood plate, nothing special, forgot what it was. We also ordered the kal bi tang (heavily flavored beef rib soup). If anyone tries it, tell me what flavor it is because I didn't taste anything. 12 bucks for that boiled shortrib in water. My family each ordered some kind of rice plate. Nothing worth mentioning. Dessert, green tea ice cream $2.95. Mochi ice cream $1.95 EACH. Soju was cool, and this raspberry wine drink thing that they said was one of the most popular drinks in Korea was cool too.

The place looks nicer on the internet. The wooden chairs are nice. That's it.

Some places have good food, and bad service. Or good prices and bad food. Or good service and bad prices, Whatever. I have found a place that is bad in everything. One lady there was very nice and she was choppin it up with us. the other lady was a *****. We made reservations at nine. We got there and I asked them what time they close, they said 10:30. When my sister came, that lady asks my sisters and brother, and a friend what they would like to order. They asked for a couple more minutes. She came back after one minute and asked again, they asked for some more time, after a minute, same thing happened, and it happened like two more times, so they got fed up and just ordered rice plates.

At the end, when we said we wanted dessert, the lady rolled her eyes and sighed. We finished eating and left. time was 10:25.

Not an expensive restaurant, but very expensive for the portions they serve.

Almost every experience at all the korean places I've been to has been a good one. Korean food may be a little more expensive than some other asian foods, but the service at Korean restaurants had always been good to me. This place is an exception. Maybe they were just having a bad day, but I'm not gonna go there again to find out. I would have given them a 5, but they had one nice lady, the chairs were cool, the kal bi was good, and the candy they had at the register when we left was good.

I've been going to Korean Palace for years and my experiences eating there couldn't be more different than the reviews. Usually I cook at my table and the food is always delicious. I've never had an issue with cleanliness here, either.
