My photo gallery 		One of the oldest bakeries in the bay area continuing to serve their famous Burnt Almond Cake. If you've tried Dick's Bakery, you'll realize their version is similar to Peter's Bakery. From reading the history off of Peter's Bakery, one of Peter's original downtown location was sold to one of his apprentices which become Dick's Bakery.

It's hard to compare the both of them without doing a back to back test. I think Peter's Bakery was less sweet and had a more moist cake. I don't know, it's difficult for me to remember. What I do know is, the cake was served to 15 people and everyone seemed to enjoy it. They liked the fluffy cake, whipped filling, and not so sweet icing.

Just order a Burnt Almond Cake, you wont be let down.
