Who would have ever thought that I would be eating at a place called Mr. Pickles? I hate pickles but not the sandwich shop. A tiny place off El Camino Real near the 92 freeway. Very easy to find as its across the street from the Safeway shopping center.

It was busy today with the line stretching out the door. The guys behind the counter were a bit slow today...maybe it had something to do the sorority girls hanging out in the shop?

I ordered the Tom Tom sandwich turkey, swiss, bacon, tomato, lettuce, onion, mayo, mustard, and their special pesto spread. Mr. Pickles does not skimp on the meat...it was piled HIGH. These guys rule....one of the better sandwich places in the Bay Area.

If you want to devour a 9 rated sandwich, be sure to make a visit to Mr. Pickles!

I finally got Jason to go to this place. I guess he thought you had to get pickles on every sandwich : )

Anyway when I want a great sandwich and dont want to be disappointed I come here. The place is small so expect to wait a least 15 minute in line when they are busy. I usually get Padres Pride which is cooked chicken with bacon, avocado, tomatoes, lettuce, and of course pickles. The best part of this sandwich is the pesto spread they put on the Dutch crunch roll, not to mention the heap of chicken you get. A half will fill you up no problem. So dont hesitate one more day and get yourself down to Mr. Pickle and experience the real deal! 9.5 stars.

Yum! Best sandwich shop in the area... good sourdough roll, good meat, and they get special orders right. Fair prices at about $7 and often I'll find that the whole sandwich for lunch leaves 1/2 for dinner. Only down side are lunch-time lines.
