Rainbow Pizza needs to re-think the size of pizzas they serve. I swear the small pizza must weigh 3-5 lbs. When I reached to pick up my small pizza off the counter, I almost dropped it on the floor cause the weight caught me by surprise.

I ordered the #1 pizza; Salami, Pepperoni, Mushrooms, and Italian Sausage. A greek style deep dish pizza with layers upon layers of toppings. These guys dont skimp out on anything. Unfortunately, they put too much toppings to the point where you cant even taste the sauce. Cheese was plentiful and crust could be soggy on sections of the pie. I like a crunchy crust so I'll throw a slice or two on a frying pan. My stomach wanted to explode after 2 slices, it was so filling that I had leftovers for the next 2 days.

My review might have sounded negative but these guys are good. If you love a deep dish, toppings overdose, and a pizza you cant finish, Rainbow Pizza might be your next visit. Dont be fooled by the name, they serve about 30 different dishes than pizza; greek, sandwiches, burgers, pasta, salads, etc. Menu looks appetizing with plenty of space to eat inside. Judging by the crowds inside, it looks to be a local favorite in the Crystal Springs area.

Pizzas, calimari, gelato in neighboring shop

Agree with JaT rating, maybe 8.5. Friendly service, great pizza, agreed with the pizza review. Calimari is great, has a nice lemon tang to it. Crystal Springs Tasty Treat next door has best gelato on the peninsula (similar quality to Dolce Spazio).
