My photo gallery 		Always on the lookout for burger places, we hit Juicy Burger on El Camino Real. I think the thing that caught our eyes was the gigantic banner in front of the restaurant boasting...'#1 Burger in Town'. We will see about that :)

Its good to see a burger place using flames to cook their burgers. This puts Juicy Burger ahead of 90 percent of fast food places out there. Another added bonus is the fixings bar where you can make your burger just the way you want it. Seeing that I dont get to eat burgers as much as would like to, I splurged and went for the double cheeseburger.

meat - wasnt crumbly and its a good thing the meat wasnt as greasy as other fast food places. Probably seasoned with just salt but had a decent charred flavor to the burger.

bun - just your ordinary bun, was slightly toasted

toppings - no complaints here, lettuce was green with no brown edges, tomatoes were ripe, onions were fresh.

If you an alternative to the regular fast food burger, be sure to try Juicy Burger for their delicious charred burgers. If I recall, my double cheeseburger combo cost roughly $7 and I was completely stuffed.

My photo gallery 		Today was one of those rare days when I ate beef so it was hard to pass by Juicy Burger and not give it a review. The place inside is not the cleanest, but what can you expect from a burger joint. Its all part of the experience. I am not complaining. Seemed about average.

The burger choices could be ordered separately or as a combo meal. And they did have a Veggie Burger option. I went for the 1/2lb Cheeseburger. Eugh, my stomach aches just thinking back. It arrived after a decent wait (you know they are cooking them fresh). The condiments were all laid out nicely and neatly so I helped myself to tomato, lettuce, ketchup, mustard, and a bunch of pickles. I even grabbed extra pickles. They don't give you funny looks if you OD on them like I am prone to do.

The cheeseburger was good, a nice flame grilled taste. A bit greasier than I am used to, but I don't have many burgers. The fries, however, were about perfect. Thick cut, and of course greasy. They are supposed to be, so no complaints here. Decent amount of salt, but not overdoing it.

Perhaps if the burgers had a bit less grease I would bump up another half point. As it was, I was satisfied with the meal at Juicy Burger and would return if I am looking for a good burger. Better than Kirks? I don't think so.

I had the 1/3lb cheeseburger combo (1/3lb cheeseburger, small fries, and a soda) total was $9.52

Like Kirk's Steakburgers it arrives with just a patty and cheese on a toasted bun. You load up at the topping bar yourself. The small fries was nothing but small, my order was take-out and although the tray in the bag was small the bag was filled a good 1/3 ways full.

Bun - Yum, Toasted goodness.
Cheese - Yellow, Gooey, I think it was cheese, sure looked like it.
Patty - Grilled a little over medium, but still juicy, tastey and satisfying. Flavor packed even amist the lettuce, tomatos, red onion, pickle chips and condiments. (yeah i loaded up)

It's on the expensive side for a self serve burger joint, however I only dropped by as I was in the area and absolutely starving. First Juicy Burger experience.
