With 2 visits on our belt for Sushi Go Round, I kinda knew what to expect on our visit. The sushi place boast this looooonnnggg mechanical conveyor belt with little pieces of fish art. Like most sushi boat places, if you see something that tempts the eye, just grab it off the belt. If you want something custom, just ask the chefs behind the counter and they will gladly make whatever you want.

I didnt see any hamachi floating around so I asked for a nigiri cut. He quickly brought out my yellowtail and took let it sit for a minute or two. The color had a line of green and red towards the top. I took my bite and ohhhh booy, this was a tough one to eat. I would taste the blood and it had a fishy taste to it. I wanted to spit it out but powered through it. I havent had hamachi taste like this before and even had Adam try it. He said almost the same thing as me. I wouldnt order that again. Fresh sushi shouldnt taste or smell fishy, it should melt in your mouth too.

The only thing saving Sushi Go Round from a score lower than a 7 is the other items that gave me pleasure. The shrimp tempura was a delight to my taste buds and the stuff crab left me wanting to order another and another. The unagi was ok and would try it again.

Dont let the hamachi incident scare you from trying Sushi Go Round. I might have gotten a bad cut or fish might have been old that day. My previous visit was much better so Im willing to try Sushi Go Round again.

We have been to Sushi Go Round a couple times and its a good fast lunch destination. I couldn't help but think of this place as the McDonalds of Sushi as it was very bright and airy, the food was on white mechanical sushi train type of thing and just seemed very family oriented. No problem, prices are decent for sushi.

I stuck with my usual and got the California Rolls and Kani Rolls. They both were good, not mind blowing, but nothing I would call out of the ordinary. What impressed me most about Sushi Go Round, however, was the ease in getting at your food. The Sushi train was stocked at noontime. I had zero wait time at getting what I wanted. Plenty of California Rolls that would please anyone, and quite a large selection of sushi on the train. And the chefs were quick to take orders as well.

If you want a quick sushi lunch then Sushi Go Round is your destination. Prices aren't bad, quality is average, and immediate gratification is assured.

What dish did you eat?

Family friendly and very accommodating staff. Feasted on spicy Ebi gunkan style servings. Sake Negiri style is incredibly fresh. Frequent Sushi Go'Round patrons can order their own personal roll. The best chicken teriyaki! Sushi Chefs are great
