Judging from the sign outside Vienna Woods Delicatessen, it appears there has been an owner change. This restaurant has been on our wish list for eternity but we finally put it away. You might have trouble finding this place as it's tucked away in a courtyard off the main street. Just look for the sign on picture 1 and follow the sidewalk to the back.

Although they offered bratwurst and leberhase, I have a bad habit of ordering club sandwiches from delis. What can I say, club sandwiches are my favorite things to order and I wasn't feeling adventurous so I ordered a club on wheat.

Dining accommodations were nice inside but outdoor patio was even nicer. We got to hear a bunch of retired people talk money and watch beautiful women strut out of the hair salon next door. Something didn't feel right about sitting there on the patio, then it dawned on me, I had to be back in an hour, these guys didn't. Damm the man.

Club Sandwich - I don't think there's a strict rule about being triple deckers but there is an unwritten rule with bacon. DRAIN THE BACON before serving. Place it in towels, do something, you should have see the oil on my plate. On picture 7, that's a napkin on the plate to soak up the oil. So I'm thinking the lady nuked my bacon on the plate and didn't wipe up afterwards, placed my sandwich on it, wheat bread soaked it up, I removed parts of bread, I'm annoyed.

Meat was your standard Saags deli cuts with 1-2 slices of turkey and ham. Toppings tasted fresh and for a club, it's average. I'd probably bump another 1/2 point if they would have served without the oily mess.

Sandwiches are about $7 each, atm's not accepted.

A decent experience. The location is the highlight of this place. Its tucked away and allows you to escape the hectic every day life and enjoy this cocoon of tranquility. I think we hit this place up in a time of transition as things felt a bit disorganized today. Still, my sandwich (while a little pricey) was tasty and fresh. The cheese sandwich here is a bit small, but I enjoyed it. It won't fill up the hungry eater, but for those itching for the experience and a solid sandwich, its hard to find a more enjoyable place for a nice sunny day.
