Another hole in the wall restaurant brought to you by my coworker Mike. This restaurant is borderline scary. The walls have scuff marks, the glade plugin was completely faded and can be carbon dated back to 1987. While the atmosphere lacks in excitement, the menus will have your wallet chirping...cheap cheap.

There are 2 menus to pick from; a pink and brown menu. The pink one contains more of lunch specials while the brown menu is a la carte stuff at ~$6. We ordered off the brown with orders of walnut prawns and salt and pepper fish.

They dropped off the usual freebie, hot and sour soup. Loaded to the soup with soup, I don't recall it being memorable but hey, it's free.

The Walnut Prawns arrived first and for the price, it was quite a deal. This dish is a guilty pleasure for me, probably not considered the most authentic Chinese dish yet it does taste good. The glaze is a combination of honey and surprisingly not overdone with mayonnaise. I think I counted 9 shrimps and pondered overdosing with another order.

Those dreams were placed on hold with a large plate of salt and pepper shrimp landing on our table. Like the name suggest, it's salty dish of fish (probably Cod) with slices of jalapenos. Pictures 7 and 8 show what $6 can get you...pretty amazing isn't it? The batter on this salt and pepper was slightly different than other places and rates above average.

Asia Village might not look the cleanest and it's not the hottest place to be seen yet they managed to plan my next visit. I want to take Terry here as cheap prices and good food is always welcomed.
