I can understand why Snakeman would be so negative on Pizza Depot. For starters, he's probably been there 100's of times and gets nightmares just thinking of the boring department lunches he had to endure while his boss yapped on about productivity is key to our survival in this competive landscape known as Silicon Valley.

Buuuuttttt....

If you're like me and stumble upon a $7 all you can pizza buffet, you're like...scooooore. Pizza Depot's pizza isn't anything gourmet but it's not too shabbie either. The lady behind the counter was super nice, We arrived at the tail end of the buffet and she offered to make us any pizza that we wanted.

While we waited for our pizzas, we dove into what appeared to be a mix of chinese and italian food. I snagged baked chicken, rice, and salad. The chicken was surprisingly good like she seasoned it and rolled it a couple of times through the pizza oven. Tasted like baked chicken I make at home.

Pepperoni and Sausage Pizza

toppings - like the stuff you get at Domino's, wasn't terrible, bonus points for getting pizza right out of oven.

sauce - kinda on the sweet side, not too bad

cheese - standard issue moz cheese

crust - medium thickness, I think the crust was the best part of the pizza.

Like the $7 price tag, the food rates about 7'ish and I have to bump up the score because of the fun filled activites you can do. They have a bar, many tvs, pool table, pinball machines, MAME arcade, mini-arcade, air hockey, and the choice to play best game of all... Street Fighter II Championship ED. I love that game and just to brag a little, solved it on 1 quarter. I almost did a flawless game do get the special ending but lost a round to Vega :(

If I'm in the area, really hungry and wanting average pizza, I wouldn't mind returning to Pizza Depot.

Snakeman ate...

Go somewhere else.....

I work across the street for 15 years. For department lunches it seems to be the favorite of management, only because of location. Cardboard; extra thick crust, canned taste in the sauce, it might be real chesse? Greasy, even the vegie pizza! Yuk!
