Finally Jose and Jason come back with the final tacos for the day. Everyone gets inside the corolla, door closed, and we polish off the La Bamba tacos in their parking lot. A lot of funny stares from people seeing 5 cramped guys stuffed into the comical Corolla munching on a taco. Dominic grabs all our trash and tosses it into the La Bamba dumpster, we hit 101 and are home free. No one can believe we really pulled this off.

Unfortunately the carnitas were not crunchy enough and felt a bit chewy (I know they're capable of producing crunchy carnitas as I've had better from them in the past), and the slightly soggy fresh salsa only seemed to exacerbate this problem. |

They had some sauce on there (the same stuff that makes hteir burritos taste so good) and it was good, but after eating the other ones, I think it kind of took away something from the taco. |
